Mechanical Progression

How Does Progression Work?

In the Combat - AAR and Combat - Setup phases, the player can purchase Mech Upgrades using Currency or Recruitment Points to increase Mech’s core stats. Purchased upgrades are permanent and cannot be removed. Mech upgrades function using the Mech stat tier system. When a Mech stat is upgraded from level 0 to level 5, it progresses from its base value to the value of the next highest tier.

How Many Times Does Progression Take Place?

NPC Pilot stats change during the Combat - AAR and Combat - Setup phases of the gameplay loop. Per run, the player will go through these phases a maximum of ten times.
